Loving Day

Today is Loving Day. Now, you may be saying to yourself, "self, what is Loving Day?"

Loving Day is an educational community project. The name comes from Loving v. Virginia (1967), the landmark Supreme Court decision that legalized interracial marriage in the United States. Loving Day celebrations commemorate the anniversary of the Loving decision every year on or around June 12th. You can learn more about it here.

Solo!

I ran my first group on my own today and I think I was pretty successful! People who usually sit back in session actually _volunteered_ to talk. This is a note someone left on the back of their evaluation page after the group. Yea for me!
